As an associate at 'Farm and Fleet', I had the opportunity to experience a wide range of exciting events and activities that brought our team together and celebrated our achievements.

One of the highlights was attending parties for retirements and grand openings, which were always filled with excitement and celebration. In fact, each grand opening was met with cake being delivered to every store in recognition of this special occasion. We also had potlucks throughout the year, where we could socialize and bond as a team.

Another notable event was our annual inventory celebration at the end of the year, which marked the completion of a significant task. As part of this process, select associates were required to arrive early in January for multiple days to assist with inventory scanning tasks.

In addition to these events, I also had the chance to work closely with farm animals during their 'in-season' periods. This experience allowed me to develop my skills and knowledge in animal care.

Throughout my time at Farm and Fleet, I held various positions, including leading teams in multiple departments. My responsibilities included processing freight, ensuring facings were filled and straightened, changing Plan-o-grams as needed, requesting pricing changes, setting up and taking down sales displays, organizing back stock, conducting inventory counts, and picking and packing store-to-store transfers.

I also traveled to Wisconsin (pre-COVID) to attend product demonstrations, learn about new products and services, and interact with vendors. This experience allowed me to gain valuable insights into the latest trends and innovations in our industry.

Another exciting opportunity was traveling to multiple stores to assist with grand openings and re-grand openings. These events provided a chance for us to showcase new products, promote sales, and build relationships with customers and colleagues alike.

Overall, my time at Farm and Fleet was filled with numerous memorable moments, from celebratory parties to exciting product launches. I'm grateful for the experiences and skills I gained during my tenure there.
